ctoclo-badgeMr Armstrong is our Chief Training Officer and is in charge of all training which is either taught by him or supervised by him. As the Chief Liability Officer he conducts or supervises all assessments and investigations into all critical incidents which could lead to liability issues. This may include the use of physical force or any reckless behavior which results in serious injury or death. He is also in charge of conducting or supervising all security and risk assessments. He works closely with the legal department and has access to several criminal, civil, and labor law attorney's. He consults on potential liability issues and ways to fix the issues. He teaches laws and legalities and is well versed in liability issues involving the protective services industry, use of force, and workplace issues. He provides expert testimony for both sworn depositions and court trials.

Mr Armstrong spent 4 years in the military where he was assigned as an engineer. As an engineer for 3 years, he was responsible for using infantry skills, explosives and conducting demolition activities, as well as searching for and rendering safe all types of explosive and non-explosive booby traps and land mines (including Improvised Explosive Devices). After receiving an honorable discharge from the military he continued his studies in criminal justice in college and attended the police academy. As well as completing his training in fire investigation. He has worked as a Campus Public Safety Officer and as a County Officer. Mr Armstrong was a Private Investigator (Fire & Fraud), an Executive Protection Specialist with Majesty Enterprises Bodyguard Personnel Services, a County Protective Services Officer, a Protective Services Field Training Officer, an Area Supervisor, a Fire District Firefighter/EMT, a Fire Department Captain, and an EMS Training Officer. He has also worked as a county volunteer patrol officer.

He was a trained Reserve Peace Officer (California Peace Officer Standards and Training Board 832 P.C., Reserve Peace Officer, Arrest & Firearms) He was formerly a Federation of United Martial Artists certified Self Defense Instructor.

With more than 25 Years working the streets providing public safety and private protection, including several years as a field training officer, He has amassed a wealth of knowledge. Mr Armstrong has handled hundreds of extremely violent confrontations, including those involving weapons and has conducted hundreds of investigations. He has an extremely successful work record and is a well respected expert within the security industry. Mr Armstrong is not just an instructor, he has actually worked in the protective fields his entire adult life and continues to do so. That's where most of his knowledge comes from.

Mr Armstrong also is the creator of the Real Deal Extreme Violence Mitigation program.
